How Long Do Temazepam Work For?

Yvonne Blake, There be dragons, Olga Kurylenko, Beautiful Monster + Ana Pastor

Last week I was fortunate to attend an exhibition of garments, sketches and post conference designer Yvonne Blake , costume director, who won an Oscar and four goyas, who was invited by the FEC (Foundation for the Study of Communication) and the AAM (Association of Friends of Fashion) to mark the premiere of the film "Dragon find / There be dragons" on 25 March.

These images are sketches of costumes and of that film, directed by Roland Joffé (director of another awesome movie like "The Mission", "City of Joy" or "The Killing Fields silence ").

Yvonne began his speech by pointing out the difference between a film designer and a fashion designer , the former being responsible for "explaining a character and lifestyle, what they think, their social world "and said that" it is easier to make a movie from another era in the current period because there is more documentation to dress better to the characters, so they win more awards "- he added in a English Yvonne almost perfect in that at one point said he's talk more English than English.

And after the years he has lived here is not for less. Born in Manchester , his career took place in London where he worked several years in Bermans. There next to the chief designer of the couture house, dressed the actors in the play "My Fair Lady " in Covent Garden . Haute Couture Clothing but in the theater.

Years later, their hands would patterns and fabrics dressed Sophia Loren in "The Venus of Wrath" by Daniel Mann and directors work for the likes of Francois Truffaut , Albert Finnney, Richard Quine, John Sturges, Mark Rydell, Richard Lester or Vicente Aranda, among others. In addition to addressing the costumes for stars like Ava Gardner , Robert de Niro, Sean Cornery or Elisabeth Taylor in titles like: "Robin and Marian", "Fahrenheit 451", "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Superman" or "Looking for Richard."

Yvonne explained that his job was "very thoroughly know the script and then talk to the director of the film to know your point of view, their vision, because he is the author of the movie" . In addition, she is the one you have to select the fabrics and make a color scheme for each sequence of the film because the light affects the election. "I like to draw. I rework the time. I always use good fabrics, natural silk so the first test I before cutting to avoid damage to such costly fabrics. I also manage to find the shoes, bags and accessories. And I have never forced any actor or actress to wear something that does not feel at ease. The clothes have to help the actor feel the emotion of the role it plays in the work. Sometimes, even I had to age the clothes from the beginning, "he explained enthusiastically.

As for his latest work, in the movie that will premiere on March 25" find Dragons / There be dragons, "Yvonne said before that I had never done a war film and reported:" I've seen many films about the English Civil War and none has convinced me because they are too romantic, it changes a lot of clothes in them and that lessens their credibility. However, I am proud to "Find the Dragon." It's very epic. An awesome movie that I've cried a lot watching and before reading the script. "The film is shot entirely in Buenos Aires

" Find the Dragon / There Be Dragons "is a story in involving revolutionaries, soldiers, and religious men in the context of the English Civil War. It is a story where love and heroes in the midst of chaos dominated by jealousy, hatred and violence. A drama that emphasizes the value of forgiveness as a way to escape the shackles of the past.

Among his protagonists with a former Bond girl, Ukrainian Olga Kurylenko that last weekend was home in Women Today. After the conference we projected a series of film sequences. I was hooked and I do not lose me.

Just a couple of strokes over the interview which I found curious and I am telling you. The questions to Yvonne asked him what was his inspiration and / or motivation to engage this work, to which she replied that when he saw about 12 years Audrey Hepburn in the film "Angel Face / Funny face." The impact was such that led him to decide on their profession.

The other issue is that he was asked to tell a story of the many who have lived in his successful career. Yvonne told Marlon Brando was an actor who could not remember his lines so the set was full of "chops", on paper or on whiteboards. Even in their close the front of the actresses were "wallpapered" with dialogues. So much so that Brando told him that for that reason I'd never done a play. What do you think?

The image below is Yvonne in the center, flanked on his right José Ángel Domínguez (FEC) and his left Merchona Goñi (AAM) . Thank you both for making possible this unforgettable evening and Yvonne for being so human as well as being a design professional theaters.

The hiding under the mask goes from being a protectionist device to a second skin.

Through Beautiful Monster the author shows monstrously beautiful images, where the symbolic elements: butterflies, thorns, references cadaverous forms, use of color, baroque compositions, lead us to think about other concepts like the ephemeral beauty, gender, time, life or death.

And I can not finish without commenting on the incident of the handkerchief, compulsory for all women in Iran, in an interview this morning has made journalist TVE the President Ana Pastor Iran. Be that as a journalist I am a woman and indignant by the debate in that country and in other similar macho culture has generated so much so that Pastor has had to explain that has been "no intention" because at no time was aware that will twist your head scarf during the interview. It seems incredible that with natural disasters and political and social turmoil ravaging our planet is to pay attention to such a subject. What a shame!
